Computer requirements to use the DMG document imaging CD (ar DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the frst time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software, 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: dr ve, A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. Tht CD will conmin files with the .tif extension. 'T'here needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs arc called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer' or "PainE" and They ~.~ not work with QuickView. The imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG has determined that a program called "1rfAnView', which can be downloaded from TrfanVicw.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "TrfanVicv", it needs to be confgurcd as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many othCr programs that work as well, such as "imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Instructions: ] . Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4, Reinsert the CD into the confuter. 5. You arc ready to view the Permit Files. NQTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. l.f the Autorun program does NbT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. instructions far manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can bC viewed at wwsv_mininestate.co.us. The Permft File document images can be viewed in thr reception area of the DMG office or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD.
