A program called QuickViCw will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the <br />first time. Future use of dtis or other imaging CD's does not require a ncsw installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase m,-, ust be in the D: drive_ A 17VD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. ThC CD will contain fifes with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that <br />wit! handle single and multi-pace documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Cmagirfg Viewrr that comes with prr-Windows XP computers <br />does work. DMG has determined that a program called "XrfanView", which can be downloaded from lrfan'View.com, does work with <br />QuickView. Alter downloading "lrfanView", it nGCds to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this <br />software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility, There are many other programs that work as well, Such as <br />"Imaging Preview" and "I+nasing for Windows". <br />lt-stn~ i~tiony: <br />1. Insert the CD into your computer. <br />2, Allow time for the CD to install. <br />3. Eject the CD from the computer. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. <br />5. You arc ready to view the Permit Fi1CS• <br />NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickView <br />setup program, has also been copied to this CD. if the Autorun program <br />does NOT work, you will neCd to manually install the: QuickView program. <br />Instructions for manually installinb QuickView are available upon request <br />with the CD or can be viCwnd at www.minine.atate.co.us. <br />The Permit File docatueut images can De viewed in the receptial area of the DMG oftlcc or they eau be purchased on a CD or <br />DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost covers the time sad labor of malting the CD.
