A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to usC a DMG imaging CD the <br />first titnC. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a nCw installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you putchase m,,,, u -st be in the D: drive. A 'DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. ThC CD will contain fifes with tha .tif extension. There nods to be aii image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and multi-page doeutnents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Vicwcr that comes with per-Windows XP computers <br />does work. DMG has determined that a program called" irfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.oom, dace work with <br />QuickView. After downloading "lrfanView", it naGds to be confisured as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this <br />software and the licensing and resgistration are rho user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />'`Imaging Preview" and "hnaging fat' Windows". <br />tustrt~ actions: <br />1. Insert the CD into your computer. <br />2. Allow time fat' the CD to install. <br />3. Eject the CD from the computer. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. <br />5. You arc ready to view the Permit FilGS. <br />NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickView <br />setup program, has also been copied to this CD. if the Autorun program <br />dons NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. <br />Instructions For manually installinb QuickView are available upon request <br />with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us. <br />The Permit JFile docatueut images can be vterved in the reception area of the D1VtG ofilee or they can be purchased on a CD or <br />DVD.
