RECLAMATION PLAN
Signs and Markers
Permit notification signs will be placed and maintained at the entrance to the
operation. However, the sign will be placed near the county road rather than at the
actual entrance.
2. The permit boundary will be identified where it is not already identified by fences
or suitable markers. Most of this boundary is already marked by fences.
Weed Control Considerations
Noxious and other highly competitive or troublesome weeds will be controlled on a site
by site basis, as required by the Colorado Noxious Weed Act. Inspection by persons familiar with
the various weed species will be done at least once a year. Annual weeds will be controlled if
necessary, as indicated by density, with mowing. Noxious perennial weeds will be controlled by
methods appropriate for those species, generally by chemical spraying. Chemical spraying,
however, will be done with considerable care so, if possible, damage to the alfalfa will be
limited. In the event a noxious weed needs to be eradicated in an area and the alfalfa is lost in the
process, the alfalfa will be replanted in the damaged area.
Cross-Section
Because the site will be so uniform at its conclusion, only one cross-section is included. The
location of this section was chosen to provide a good representation of the site along a line where the
greatest deviation from the current topography will be found.
Miller Gravel Pit Amendment (2007) Exhibit E Page 4 of 4
