RECLAMATION PLAN <br />Signs and Markers <br />Permit notification signs will be placed and maintained at the entrance to the <br />operation. However, the sign will be placed near the county road rather than at the <br />actual entrance. <br />2. The permit boundary will be identified where it is not already identified by fences <br />or suitable markers. Most of this boundary is already marked by fences. <br />Weed Control Considerations <br />Noxious and other highly competitive or troublesome weeds will be controlled on a site <br />by site basis, as required by the Colorado Noxious Weed Act. Inspection by persons familiar with <br />the various weed species will be done at least once a year. Annual weeds will be controlled if <br />necessary, as indicated by density, with mowing. Noxious perennial weeds will be controlled by <br />methods appropriate for those species, generally by chemical spraying. Chemical spraying, <br />however, will be done with considerable care so, if possible, damage to the alfalfa will be <br />limited. In the event a noxious weed needs to be eradicated in an area and the alfalfa is lost in the <br />process, the alfalfa will be replanted in the damaged area. <br />Cross-Section <br />Because the site will be so uniform at its conclusion, only one cross-section is included. The <br />location of this section was chosen to provide a good representation of the site along a line where the <br />greatest deviation from the current topography will be found. <br />Miller Gravel Pit Amendment (2007) Exhibit E Page 4 of 4 <br />
