Exhibit H -Waste Water Treatment
Sanitary facilities on site - There is a porta-potty maintained on site for use by
employees and visitors.
2. Equipment maintenance (oil changes, lubrication, washing, etc.) - No washing of
equipment is done on site. Oil changes, lubrication, and refueling are done using a service
truck hired under contract to come to the site on a daily basis. Oil changes are done using
a pump that draws the oil out of the crankcase and deposits it directly into a storage tank.
This prevents spills. The pump system was designed and supplied by the manufacturer of
the heavy equipment. A small supply of fuel and oil is maintained on site in the event it is
needed prior to the contract mobile service truck arrives. All of this is kept in three 50
gallon drums that are contained within a storage trailer. For major maintenance of
equipment (engine rebuilds, transmission work, etc.) the equipment is completely
removed from the site and serviced at the manufacturer's repair site or at the main service
shop of the mining contractor. No major maintenance can be done at the site as there are
no facilities to do major maintenance and maintain the high standard of cleanliness
needed for such repairs.
Miller Gravel Pit -Special Use Permit Page 16 of 26
