January 20, 2008
Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
Mr. Wallace H. Erickson
1313 Sherman St.
Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
Fag # 303-832-8106
Dear Mr. Erickson,

Thank. you for your letter dated January 4, 2008. It presented a con i~ se
overview of events since 1992.
From the information you have sent, it is now apparent the signage that
says S-D-20 is an abbrev~tion for the South D- 20 Pit. Likewise, the
permit number of M-92-102 is an abbreviation of the actual cumber M-
1992-102. The term "Racine Pit" is no longer being used. Locating the
operation on your website with the terms I had from the signage was
impossible.
Also your letter further clarifies that Western Gravel, Inc is the ongoing
permit holder. With the new information provided, I was able to locate
the pit information on your web site.
I am keeping my records accurate for my grown children and husband.
Should anything happen to me, they will need to have this information
when a decision is made to sell my adjacent property. I believe any
prospective buyer will want information on the status of the operation
and reclamation plan.
Since ^~
`~
Carol Ibach
64669 Ranger Rd.
