Sherman
Executive Director
Ronald W. Cattany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (CDRMS) has reviewed and found the
above referenced report to be in compliance with Rule 4.05.13(2). The Forth Quarter Discharge
Monitoring Reports were received by the Division on 24 January 2008. The reports cover the time
period from O1 October 2007 through 31 December 2007.
Five NPDES outfalls discharged during the Forth Quarter of 2007. Outfalls 011, 020, and 021
discharged in response to an intense fall precipitation event in early October. Outfalls 001 and 002
discharged routinely throughout the quarter. Due to the intense precipitation event in early October,
alternate limitations will be applied to outfalls 011 and 020. The alternate limitations for Settleable
Solids, applicable in the event of discharged caused by precipitation less than or equal to the 10-year,
24-hour precipitation event, was met at all outfalls. Outfalls 011, 020, and 021 were sampled for WET
analyses during the quarter. No exceedances of WET test limitations were observed.
Thank you for the timely submittal.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
