§2.05 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT FOR SURFACE OR UNDERGROUND MINING ACTIVITIES -
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR OPERATION AND RECLAMATION PLANS.
Backfilling and Grading
1. The two mine adits have been backfilled in accordance with Volume
6A -Final Abandonment Tab, Figure 2.05-6.
2. As the result of a mine fire in 1986, the ventilation shaft was sealed.
3. Although the mine permit describes "rock tunnels", they were never
constructed and therefore references to these structures and their
subsequent reclamation elsewhere in the permit should be ignored.
Timber Storage Area
The ROM storage pile has been reduced from approximately 38,000
cu. yds. of stored ROM coal to approximately 17,000 cu. yds. of ROM
coal storage.
Unit Train Loadout and Highway Stockpile
The Highway Stockpile was temporarily stabilized during 2002. The
Unit Train loadout is still active and therefore has no new reclamation
activities to report.
TR-43
60-c
01 /04
/~ PPRov61>
Z/2o/o y
