APPENDIX M(vii) <br />MUNGER CANYON MINE <br />COAL MINE WASTE DISPOSAL SITE <br />INTERIM CONFIGURATION -RECLAIMED WITH SEDIMENT POND IN PLACE <br />Notes for Calculations: <br />1. Pages M(vii)-27 & 28 present a spread sheet calculation of the required <br />capacity of the sediment pond based on the 10 year event. <br />2. Page M(vii)-29 is a ditch and culvert sizing summary. <br />3. CMP 1, 2 and 3 are shown on Figure 2.2-8. <br />4. Ditches were sized using SEDCAD4. Ditches were sized using the 10 year <br />and 100 year event as appropriate. Ditches C, D, F, I and J were sized with the <br />100-year event, Ditches K and L were sized with the 10 year event. <br />5. Page M(vii)-48 shows the peak flow using the 25-year event in the SEDCAD4 <br />program. This peak flow is for the interim configuration. The original emergency <br />spillway design utilizes a 21"diameter and is shown on page M(vii)-30. <br />6.
