include a determination of revegetation success in accordance with Parts <br />~'~" ~ 4.15.7 through 4.15.10, and restoration of surface drainage <br />characteristics such that contributions of suspended solids from untreated <br />disturbed area runoff are within applicable water quality limitations. <br />Dorchester and subsequently EFCI have requested and obtained approval for <br />exemptions from the requirements or Part 4.05.2 for several small areas <br />where sedimentation ponds are not necessary to meet discharge effluent <br />limitations. These small area exemptions have been addressed in <br />conjunction with the following minor revisions; <br />o Minor revision for installation of Substation No. 2 and the <br />associated power transmission line and access road. <br />o Minor revision requesting small area exemption for the small <br />topsoil stockpile located at the intersection of County Road 92 and <br />the coal refuse pile access road, and a portion of the access road <br />area <br />`~ o Minor revision for installation of the pump house, pipeline and <br />associated access road for mine dewatering <br />o Minor revision for construction and ongoing use of south mine fan <br />installation <br />o Minor revision for rock dust storage facility <br />o Loadout area minor revisions addressing the former truck <br />turnaround, southwest sediment trap, and railway containment berm <br />o Minor revision for explosives bunker <br />The small area exemptions involve limited areas where there is no mixing <br />of surface drainage and groundwater from underground mine workings. <br />Documentation of approval for the small area exemptions is included as an <br />Appendix to Exhibit 19, Drainage and Sediment Control Plan. <br />C:\ W OP K\PR1\EbGlMIA I S.
