EXHIBIT B
SITE DESCRIPTION
A. See the vegetation, soil and reclamation inventory and evaluation by:
Fred Cummings
Resource Conservationist
Natural Resources Conservation Service
B. During mining any ground water seepage will be pumped into storage ponds
within the pit area. During the reclamation the topsoil (which is stockpiled) will
be spread over the surface and will be re-seeded in accordance with the
recommendations of NRCS, see attached letter from Mr. Fred Cummings. The
mining and processing operation will be designed to manage storm runoff, so that
no sediments flow to existing drainage.
C. A wildlife statement is not required for Limited Impact Operations. However see
letter from the State of Colorado Department of Natural Resources Division of
Wildlife by:
Mr. Bill DeVergie
Area Wildlife Manager
Piceance Creek District
