the swale drains to the RSN Pond 5. Most of the drainage is overland flow across the
• road. A shallow ditch is maintained between the road and Topsoil Pile 1.
Surtacing -The road had little or no roadbase and a minimal amount of 3/4 roadbase
gravel on the surface.
Maintenance -Minor grading may be done on the road to eliminate ruts and to
promote drainage.
Structure Location Construction Dates
Light Use Road 3 UTL, Exhibit 11 A 1978
Description -This road circles around outside the Unit Train Loadout (UTL) rail loop
from [he point where Haul Road 3 crosses the loop, around the east and north side to
another track crossing on the northwest side of the loop. This 3800' road is seldom
used except for monitoring of 3 piezometers outside the rail loop.
Design and Construction -The road generally follows the original topography of the
area with very little cut and fills. Except for 120' of 8% grade near the south end, the
grades on the road range from 0-1%. The width of the road is 15 30'.
• Drainage -The road is at the same elevation as adjacent ground with no drainage
control specific to the road.
Surtacing -The road has a dirt surface.
Maintenance -Minor grading may be done on the road to eliminate ruts and to
promote drainage.
Structure Location Construction Dates
Light Use Road 4 UTL, Exhibit 11 A 1978
Description -This road includes a 2000' road around the east side of Pond 1 + 2, a
1300' road between the clean coal stockpile and the sewage lagoons and a 400' road
north of the sewage lagoons connecting to Light Use Road 3 at the tracks.
Design and Construction -The road generally follows the current topography of the
area with no cuts and fills. The grades is relatively level. The width of the road is 15-
20'.
• T13-2-1 D
