Don Kehn <br />Construction Inc. <br />GENERAL CONTRACTORS <br />January 22, 2004 <br />Division of Minerals and Geology <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman St., Room 215 <br />Dem+er, CO 80203 <br />RE: Timnath pit, DMG #M-89.056 # 112C <br />Dear Sir or Madam; <br />In reference to our mining operation at the Timnath Pit, we have enclosed a map and a <br />check for the annual fee. <br />We are continuing to work in Phase lA as shown on the roap, Tisted as Exhibit C 2. The <br />sand processing plant remains as previous on top of deposits yet to be mined. The <br />cnesher remains at the site indicated <br />Temporary wetlands are developing in the southeast portion of Phase lA as shower <br />Permanent wetlands are developing in the northeast corner of the site. <br />13ackfilliag is complete on the south side of Phase lA. Mining is complete in the west <br />portion of Phase lA up to the AT&T setback, south of our pit access road. Backfilling <br />will be completed on this west portion before spring. Seeding will follow All <br />backfilling has been cut into shale and compacted to prevent infiltration The crusher and <br />~ sand P~~~S Ply will remain at their present location throughout 2005. <br />We anticipate disturbing an additional tea acres in 2004 in area 1C.
