12ECEIVE® <br />JAN 0 7 2008 <br />Daniels Sand Pit pivision of Reclamation, <br />2006 Annual Report Mining and Safety <br />Continental Materials Corporation <br />(Transit Mix Concrete) <br />M-1973-007-SG <br />Anniversary Date: January 7 <br />Overview of Permit Year: Throughout the 2007 year, activity at this site remained <br />steady. Mining continued in phase 5E and into phase 1E North. The ditch will be <br />relocated prior to merging Phases 4E and 5E. An amendment for this site is currently <br />being worked on and should be submitted sometime in 2008. <br />Annual Report Maps: As has been the case in the past, two annual report maps are <br />provided; one for the west side and one for the east side of Academy Boulevard. <br />Affected Lands: Please refer to the enclosed maps for affected land acreage. The <br />west side acreage had no change in the previous year. The east side acreage increased <br />as areas were mined and some stockpiles were relocated. <br />Revegetation: 1"he site is stable and not subject to erosion. Drainage is contained <br />within the pit. <br />Expected Activity (2007): Transit Mix expects to continue mining in phase 5E and <br />a short distance into Phase 1E (north) for the duration of 2008. The direction of <br />mining in Phase 5E phase will be generally to the west. The amount of activity at this <br />site should continue to be steady. <br />Bonding: This operation is covered by aself-bonding arrangement. <br />
