At present all processed
stockpiled material. All of the portable cement plant equipment and ancillary items
have been removed from the portion of the area that they used to occupy. This
portion of the area was not included in the permit area.
4) The only thing still in place from the old pit is the small pond. Embankments were
stable and no sign of erosion noted.
5) As part of the noxious weed removal plan, the operator had removed all the tamarisk
from the permit area and had them stockpiled in place.
6) There was a small processed asphalt stockpile located along the east side of the
permit area. Mr. Cochran stated that Fremont Paving & Redi mix will be utilizing
the product soon.
7) Operator plans to commence mining operation once the demand for the product picks
up.
8) The current warranty for the site is $57,500.00 which is more than adequate to
cover the current affected area. However, once mining commence, operator will need
to notify DBMS in writing. If mining is not going to commence with in the next 189
days, it will be good if the operator will apply for a temporary cessation status,
which will be effective for five years.
9) Permit sign and boundary markers properly posted
18~ E Contact Address r BL
r FS,
NAME: ROBERT RAY r HW
r HMWMD (CH)
OPERATOR: LAFARGE r
STREET: 18170 C'HUCH RANCH WAY r SE
r WQCD (CH)
CITY/STATE/ZIP: wFSTMiNSTFR rn ~rln~l r OTHER
cc: r CE JOEL BOLDUC
