Third
quarter 2007 sediment pond inspections were conducted on September 19, and 25, 2007. Most of the ponds
were dry or help pools of water well below the discharge levels, due to recent rains. Mine water treatment
ponds, 5-P5, 5-P6 and 5-P7, Outfall No. 003 discharged during Third quarter 2007. The operator noted that
minor maintenance is needed for rodent burrows at HR-P1 and along the road to Pond 9P3.
Copies of the quarterly reports need to be maintained at the mine office and at the Division's office as per Rule
4.05.9(17). Thank you for the timely submittal of the pond inspection reports.
Sincerely,
_ -- ~~
Janet H.
