Northfield Findings Document Review Page 2
December 19, 2007
The remainder of my comments are editorial or typographical errors noted.
The page numbering needs to be checked. The numbering repeats following the Table of
Contents.
In Stipulation No. 1 "Initial" is misspelled at both locations on pages 2 and 16.
In the last sentence on gage 16 that includes "Monitoring frequency of these wells will vary
dependent, becoming more frequent..." is an improper sentence and should be revised.
In the second to last paragraph of page 8 it says "Ocean Wave season" instead of "seam".
Also on page 8 {particulazly in the fourth paragraph), the word Formation is used as both capital
and lower case. In most instances in this context it should be capitalized.
Just as a general comment, the word groundwater is used throughout the document in both a
single word an as two words. It's a matter of preference, sometimes when it is used as a modifier
it is two words, but there seems to be an inconsistency in this document. I have always used it as
one word to keep things simple. Other divisions in our department always use it as two words.
So it's a minor point, but I would just be consistent throughout the document.
Let me know if you have any questions regarding my review.
C: Sandy Brown
