Support Facilities <br /> No problems were found in the following areas: materials storage bench,trash compactor, explosives <br /> magazine, barrel storage building, hydraulic components storage, and the Shaft 3 site. <br /> Topsoil <br /> Topsoil stockpiles were properly marked and protected by grass cover in the surface facilities area <br /> (next to the coal stockpile) and in upper Sylvester Gulch. Topsoil stockpiles were also in good shape <br /> at the corrals staging/laydown area. <br /> Offsite Support Facilities <br /> Work was in progress on the Monument Dam preventative measures. The preventative measures were <br /> approved in TR-108. The borrow area on the south side of Forest Service Road 711 is the only area <br /> near Monument Dam considered as mine disturbance, and it appeared to be no larger than the area <br /> approved for disturbance in TR-108. <br /> Documents Received <br /> One document was received during the inspection,the report titled"Fall 2007 Subsidence and <br /> Geologic Field Observations". <br /> 4 <br />
