(Page 2 ) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-1995-063 <br />INSPECTION DATE 11/08/07 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS ESC <br />OB3SRVATION3 <br />This was an inspection of the Schumacher Pit conducted by Erica Crosby of the Colorado <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety. Gordon Lambert with Logan County was present <br />during the inspection. The site is located 3 miles southwest of Peetz in Logan County, <br />Colorado. <br />The llOc permit was issued on September 15, 1995 for a permit area of 9.90 acres. The site <br />is actively being mined of material to be used on the county roads. According to Mr. <br />Lambert, the County will continue mining in the pit for another 3-4 years. Approximately <br />56,000 cubic yards of material remains in the pit. Mining is proceeding to the northeast. <br />The topsoil pile was noted in the northeast area of the site. Amine identification sign was <br />posted at the entrance to the site. <br />The reclamation plan states that the pits will be reclaimed to a 3h:iv configuration and will <br />be replaced with approximately 4" of topsoil.
