RE: Augmentation Water Lease for the Greeley West Pit, M-77-081 (WY 2008)
Dear Gary:
In accordance with the November 2001 agreement with Flatiron Company and the City of Greeley,
Greeley will provide augmentation water for up to 80 acres of exposed water surface at the Greeley West
site. To meet the Flatiron Company's augmentation demands for Water Year 2008, Greeley will make
available wholly consumable effluent from Greeley's Wastewater Plant on the Poudre River associated
with the use of the Windy Gap Units or other augmentation supplies available to the City.
The request totals 41.8 acre-ft and will make replacements from November 2007 through April 2008, as
well as October 2008, as shown below. Augmentation water shall be available per the following schedule
provided to the City of Greeley by Applegate Group, Inc. earlier this season.
