1.) Rule 1.6.2(1)(e)(ii) -Proof of notice to owners of record of land surface within 200 feet of the boundary of <br />the affected land: <br />The adjacent landowners are not within 200 feet of the proposed pit boundaries. Therefore I did not send <br />certified return receipt letters to each of these landowners. However, I did send a complimentary letter <br />and application to the Gerstner's and the Campbell's since their land is the closest, even though it is <br />further than 200 feet of the boundary.. The surveyed map shows the distance. <br />2) Rule 6.2.1(2) -Map signed by Surveyor: <br />Attached is a signed surveyed map. <br />Rule 6 3 1 Exhibit A - Leal Description and Location Map: <br />3) Location Map: <br />The submitted location map did show section 26. However, attached is a widened view of the location <br />map to verify it's in section 26. <br />Rule 6.3.3 Exhibit C - Mining Plan: <br />4) Groundwater elevation: <br />The County will stay within 2 feet above the seasonal high groundwater elevation. <br />5) Disturbances: <br />No disturbances, such as benches or impoundments will occur. <br />6) Topsoil: <br />The quantity of topsoil that will be salvaged during mining will be 5 inches and subsequently replaced <br />during reclamation. <br />7) Stockpiling Topsoil: <br />The entire site will not be stripped of topsoi) at once; it will be completed in phases to prevent erosion, so <br />approximately 2000 cubic yards of topsoil will be stockpiled on site. <br />Rule 6.3.4 Exhibit D -Reclamation Plan: <br />8) Notarized letter from landowner for access road: <br />The purposed pit boundary is directly against County Road 53, therefore no haul road will be established; <br />just an entrance gate location, which is part of the permit boundaries that the landowner originally <br />signed, approved and notarized in the submitted application. <br />9) Reclamation Plan practices: <br />The river bank on the west side wip not be disturbed. Topsoil will be piled on the east border. It should <br />not pose any threat to erosion into the Smoky River drainage. <br />
