D. Equipment and Vehicles. Describe that which is proposed for use in your operation (Examples: <br />drill, dozer, wash platrt, mill, etc.). Include: sizes, capacity, frequency of use, etc. <br />No mills will be used. Structures. Include information about fixed or portable structures or facilities planned for the <br />operation. Show locations on the map. Include such things as living quarters, storage sheds, <br />mill buildings, thickener tanks, fuel storage, powder magazines, pipelines, water diversions, <br />trailers, sanitation facilities including sewage disposal, etc, Include engineering design and <br />geotechnical information for project facilities, justification and calculations for sizing of tanks, <br />pipelines and water diversions, eta <br />A temporary rizzly maybe built at the current wash site west of Site B Three portable screen- <br />ins ii~s will be brought on site for screening during active operations They will be removed over <br />the winter season. No other structures will be built No powder magazines will be used No fuel <br />will be stored on site No tanks pipelines or water diversions will be needed. nor used The <br />sent Gray-water system and pipes will be dismantled Other present structures including retaining <br />wall tent platforms concrete,.pads and fence will be dismantled and hauled off site <br />Minins activity will be conducted during the daylight hours Personnel will remain on site only.` <br />d g the active phase of mining_when eq~upinent is on site up to 14 days a season During <br />mechanized operations personnel m2~y camp orator near the site If so all personnel will practice <br />minimal-impact camping. All refuse will be removed from site to a sanitary,.landfill Personnel will <br />leave the site daily to take care of personal sanitation needs Between seasons nothing will remain <br />on site. The site will be clean. (Because ofthe several "imnrovemen~ts "such as platforms <br />it may take us a couple seasons to clean the site. Final cleaning_will be accomplished during final <br />_ reclamation when the site is returned for suitable razing land and wildlife habitat 1 Any silt fences <br />below reclaimed excavations will remain until 50% or more coverage is established <br />Y. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTEC770NMEASURES (SEE 36 CFR 2288) <br />A. Air Quality. Describe measures proposed to minimize impacts on air quality such as obtaining a <br />burning permit for slash disposal or dust abatement on roads. <br />Impact will be inimal. No slash will be homed. No open fires will be used. <br />No haulage will occur Due to the nature of the granitic soil and small excavations no significant__ <br />dust is enerated. After the first foot of topsoil is scrapped and piled, generated dust is nninimal <br />because the alluvial soils and Gravel are damp This site is adjacent to an improved gravel road __ <br />Vehicles will remain parked in the established parkin area south of the site Equipment will be roaded <br />in once and removed once unless a track hoe is brought in for a second tame to complete seasonal,.- <br />reclamation. <br />(If more space is needed to fill out a block of information, use additional sheets and attach to form ) <br />
