Access. Show on a map (USGS quadrangle map or a National Forest map, for example) the <br />claim boundaries, if applicable, and all access needs such as roads and trails, on and off the <br />claim. Specify which Forest Service roads will be used, where maurtenance or reconstruction is <br />proposed, and where new construction is necessary. For new construction, include construction <br />specifications such as widths, grades, etc., location and size of culverts, describe maintenance <br />plans, and the type and size of vehicles and equipment that will use the access routes. <br />See accompanving_maps which indicate claim boundaries and access roads. The main access road is <br />F.S. Rd 211 from Park County Road 77 via State I~ghway 24. Heave equipment will be roaded into <br />the site and "walked in" a few yards to the various excavations. An existing loggia rg cad provides <br />access to any anticipated dig areas. No roads will be constructed. This is a continuing operation <br />following the death of previous owner and operator Walter M. Rubeck. A medium size ba~ckhoe or <br />a track hoe (John Deere 200 equivalent) will primarily be used for mining. A dump truck maY be used <br />for removing_debris. At the end of the operation, a bull dozer might me used for final reclamation. <br />Otherwise service vehicles will be limited to standard 4WD vehicles. (See continuation). <br />B. Map, Sketch or Drawing. Show location and layout of the area of operation. Identify any <br />streams, creeks or springs if known. Show the size and kind of all surface disturbances such as <br />trenches, pits, settling ponds, stream channels and run-off diversions, waste dumps, drill pads, <br />timber disposal or clearance, etc. Include sizes, capacities, acreage, amounts, locations, <br />materials involved, etc. <br />Attached maps indicate proposed production excavation sites, currently existing excavations, and <br />some mine improvements. Exploration prospects will be limited to two small pits not to exceed <br />1,500 ft per season: All prospect pits will be closed within 2 weeks of opening unless they indicate <br />mineral potential. Production excavations will be limited to one per season up to .33 acre total.
