G//~,
r ,,
~!"
~~_
November 17, 2007
ENERGY FUELS RESOURCES
CORPORATION
Mr. G. Russell Means
Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety
101 South 3ra, Suite 301
Grand Junction, CO 81501
Transmittal: As-Built Report, Water Treatment System
Whirlwind Mine, Mesa County, Colorado
Dear Russ:
~~~
NOV 19 2007
GRAND JUNCTEON FIELD OFFICE
DIVISION OF
RECLAMATION PAINING & SAFETY
Enclosed is a copy of the above referenced report that documents installation of the portable
water treatment system at the Whirlwind Mine for dewatering operations during exploration. The
system was built and installed by Lyntek Incorporated and KGL Associates under the
supervision of Energy Fuels' technical personnel. This system was approved under Modification
2 to the Whirl Wind Tunnel Prospect Permit P-2005-008.
The portable treatment system installed at the site is virtually identical to the system proposed in
our mine and reclamation plan (M-2007-044), except that the lined ponds have been replaced
with multiple-lined tanks of similar size. We made this change in response to the Division's
technical review of our prospect permit and wish to carry this change forward into the mine
permit application.
This report is not considered confidential and can be released to the public for review and
comment.
Sinc ,
Frank Filas
Environmental Manager
Enclosure
Cc: Jim Komatinsky, Mesa County
D.
