Existing roads would be left in a condition equal to or Road Use <br /> better than that observed on MCC's entry into the area or Permit <br /> to the satisfaction of the USFS engineer or permit <br /> administrator. At the completion of mining operations <br /> MCC will blade and crown all roads;- shape and repair <br /> shoulders; clean all culverts and drainage ditches; and <br /> perform all other road maintenance work necessary to <br /> insure satisfactory functioning of the road drainage <br /> system. <br /> 2. FS Roads 710, 711, Horse Gulch Road (711.2b) and MCC Project <br /> Sylvester Gulch Roads would be used to access area. Plan, <br /> Access to the area would primarily be on the Sylvester County Road <br /> Gulch Road. Periodically, oversized and full-sized Use <br /> vehicles may need to mobilize via the county portion Agreement <br /> Minnesota Creek Road, however use will be minimized. <br /> 3. Roads will be kept clear of slides, fallen timber, and Federal Coal <br /> overhanging brush which obstructs visibility.* Lease <br /> Stipulation <br /> 4. Gravel or other selected surfacing material will not be Road Use <br /> bladed off of roads. Permit <br /> 5. Two segments of existing full-size road upgrades Colorado <br /> (totaling approximately %2 mile) in Poison Gulch Division of <br /> connecting to Elijah Park will remain open after project Wildlife, <br /> completion to allow public hunting access as BMP <br /> recommended by Colorado Division of Wildlife to Elijah paonia <br /> Park (January 2007). The remainder of Poison Gulch will Ranger <br /> be decommissioned to a System ATV trail at the end of District <br /> project use (primary current use). <br /> 6. Existing "loop" road in T 135, R 90W Section 33 and T Colorado <br /> 145, R 90W Section 4 will be decommissioned by Division of <br /> obliteration at the end of the project, but existing spurs in Wildlife, <br /> T 145, R 90W, W 1/2 Section 4 connecting Deer Creek BMP <br /> Road to private land will remain open to allow public <br /> hunting and private access without duplication of routes <br /> as recommended by Colorado Division of Wildlife.. <br /> 7. MCC must provide specific improvement and use Forest Plan, <br /> parameters using the AASHTO design criteria (Guideline AASHTO <br /> for geometric design of very low volume roads (2001 Design <br /> edition) and Design guide for pavement structures (1993 Standard, <br /> edition)) for public roads (Service Levels 3, 4 and 5) or as Road Use <br /> approved by Forest Engineer, to be designed by a <br />21 <br />
