RECLAMATION ANNUAL REPORT <br />LYONS QUARRY, LYONS, COLORADO <br />PERMIT NO. M-77-208 <br />1992-1993 <br />The purpose of this report is to comply with the Mined Land Reclamation <br />Act of 1976, Statute 34-3Z-I12 of House Bill No. 1065. This report follows <br />the outlined requirements found in the Rules and Regulations of Colorado Mined <br />Land Reclamation Board, Section 2.4, covering annual reports. The permit for <br />the Lyons Quarry was issued on June 4, 1978. <br />This report shows the areas partially reclaimed, continuing operations <br />and the new areas opened up in the 1992-1993 reporting period. Each area of <br />the operation affected during the reporting period is identified on the map. <br />The map legend indicates the type of operation, the areas included, and the <br />total acreage for each type of operation. The individual areas are labeled <br />and the acreage of each parcel is indicated in the map. <br />The mining and stripping areas which are considered major disturbance <br />include: area A3 which includes 47.3 acres; area C1 which includes 1 acre; <br />area C2 which includes 16.7 acres; and area C3 which includes 11 acres. <br />Mining and stripping areas total 76 acres. Also considered major disturbance <br />are the areas where mining is completed and the areas are awaiting <br />reclamation. These areas include area A4 which includes 10.5 acres and area <br />C5 which includes 5.8 acres. <br />The waste dump, equipment storage, and stockpile areas include: areas <br />A5 and A6, and total 56.2 acres. These areas are considered moderate <br />disturbance. <br />There are many areas in various stages of reclamation.
