<br />1 1980-1983Administrative
<br />' President of Western Cultural Resource Management, Inc., Boulder, Colorado:
<br />consultants in archaeology, paleontology, and history. As president I was
<br />responsible for the daily administrative task of managing a consulting firm
<br />' with six offices and as many as 98 employees. Tn addition to the Boulder
<br />office there were offices in Durango, Colorado, Rock Springs, Wright and
<br />Casper, Wyoming, Boise, Idaho and La Grande, Oregon. Corporate
<br />management duties included participation in financial considerations such as
<br />cash flow analysis, budgeting, banking arrangements, permits, contract
<br />negotiations, marketing, technical and cost proposal preparation, working with
<br />a number of various state and federal regulatory personnel, technical report
<br />' preparation, quality control, editing, and lastly the overall management and
<br />organizational capabilities to complete a project within budget, within
<br />schedule, and within the professional guidelines of the archaeological
<br />' community.
<br />Archaeology
<br />' Principal investigator on numerous cultural resource management projects for
<br />federal agencies and private energy-related companies throughout California,
<br />Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Oregon, and Wyoming. Principal Investigator
<br />' on large-scale excavation programs in northeast Oregon (the Ladd Canyon,
<br />Marshmeadow, and Stockhoff Basalt Quarry sites) and Grand County, Colorado
<br />(the Windy Gap site). During the Pan-Alberta Pipeline Project from
<br />southeastern Idaho to northeastern Oregon I had the opportunity of working
<br />' with several members of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian
<br />Reservation, Pendleton, Oregon. During this time I was also active in
<br />conducting surveys, authoring reports and acting as principal investigator on
<br />' several projects for Arapaho/Roosevelt and San Juan National Forests, and
<br />Pawnee National Grasslands, Colorado; Medicine Bow and Bighorn National
<br />Forests, and Thunder Basin National Grasslands, Wyoming, and Toiyabe
<br />' National Forest, California.
<br />1979 Administrative
<br />' President of Western Cultural Resource Management, Inc., Boulder,
<br />Colorado. Duties consisted of managing WCRM's everyday affairs in
<br />' establishing clients, conducting numerous archaeological projects and
<br />preparing technical reports (see 1980-1983 above).
<br />' Archaeology
<br />Numerous cultural resource management projects completed for the US
<br />Forest Service and private energy-related companies throughout Colorado,
<br />' Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming. Acted as Principal Investigator for large and
<br />small scale CRM projects in Colorado, Wyoming, and Nevada. Conducted
<br />surveys, authored technical reports and served as principal investigator on
<br />' several projects for San Juan National Forest.
