<br /> <br />' uranium mine near Danville, Virginia for Marline Uranium Corporation. This project also <br />involved sampling and interpretation of uranium and thorium series radionuclides in the <br />biological materials of the site. <br />1977 to 1980. Plant Ecologist, Camp, Dresser and McKee, Denver, Colorado. Among the <br />' studies conducted during this period were several in northwest New Mexico and southwestern <br />Colorado. In northwestern New Mexico he conducted studies for proposed coal mines at Star Lake <br />(Chaco Energy Company), South Hospah (Chaco Energy Company), and a property adjecent to the <br />' Star Lake project (Freeman-United Coal Company). Vegetation studies also were conducted for <br />a proposed uranium mine and mill near Crownpoint in northwestern New Mexico for Mobil Oil. <br />In southwestern Colorado baseline vegetation studies and reclamation plans were completed for <br />the Windjammer Mine and Shalako Mines for A.T. Massey Coal Company. <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br /> <br />1 <br />1 <br /> <br />Transmission line corridor studies and reclamation plans were completed for the proposed AMAX <br />Mount Emmons project. Baseline vegetation studies were also carried out for NERCO at the Dave <br />Johnston Mine near Glenrock, Wyoming. <br />1975 to 1977. During <br />this period Dr. Buckner conducted baseline vegetation studies at the proposed Lake De Smet coal <br />mine near Buffalo, Wyoming; the proposed Peabody Coal Company Star Lake coal mine in <br />northwestern New Mexico: and the Adam's Rib Recreation Area ski development near Eagle, <br />Colorado. <br />1970 to 1975. Graduate student, University of Colorado, Boulder, Colorado. Performed <br />consulting services through University Laboratory of Mountain Ecology for Man. Performed <br />baseline vegetation studies and studies of rates of revegetation in semi-desert, montane, and <br />alpine ecosystems.
