This information was collected during two separate trips to the Bette Mountain <br />Resources Ine..(BMRI) San Luis Mine site; the first on November 11, 1993 and,the second <br />from November 17 thro4rgh 19, 1993. This work coincides with Tasks 2 and 3~ of WWL's <br />work scope. <br />CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES -NOVEMBER 11, 1993 <br />On this day, Construction activities consisted exclusively of placement of ling drainage <br />blanket material required beneath random fill for the access road to th@ north end of the <br />embankment raise. BMRI had placed road construction as a high priority s0 that a continuous, <br />one-way haul road could be utilized for embankment raise construction. Alana Scptt of BMRI <br />estimated that embankment construction would hagin the following Tuesday (11!18!93). 1 <br />verified that liner cover material was being utilized on the liner, and that thew were no <br />materials greater than 1 %,-inch size present. <br />CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES -NOVEMBER 17 - 19, 1993 <br />During this period the following construction activities were undertaken. <br />• Embankment -Three 3•foot lifts were placed and compacted on the southisrn end of <br />the embankment. Prior to placement of the lifts, snow was removed from tlhe existing <br />till, end the existing surface was scarified. Embankment construction has been <br />continuing 24 hours a day.
