The weekly sample of the inactive (lower) pond, collected
on December 23, showed 0.99 ppm CN-wad and 1.99 ppm CN-total.
On December 21, the collection pond sample was discarded without
performing a total cyanide analysis. On December 23, the active
pond daily sample results showed 4.59 ppm CN-total. The daily
sample of the active pond on December 24 showed 1.60 ppm CN-
total. A contaminated sample bottle or a titration error is the
expected reason for the December 23 sample results. Simple
results bracketing December 23 were within permit standards. All
CN-wad results were within permit standards. The December 23
results were included in the weekly average calculations.
If you have any questions, please call.
Sincerely,
.~ aw~Q ~ of
Alana L.
