~~
III'II III IIIIIII III
C c~rp~us
"`~ Yampa Vallay
November 19, 1993
Kent Gorham
Reclamation Specialist
Division of Minerals and Geology
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
Dear Mr. Gorham;
Cyprus Yampa Valley Coal Corporation
29587 Routt County Road #27
Oak Creek, Colorado 80467
303-879-3800
RECIdI~~f~
NO V 2 3 1993
Diviei~n c+ +.;,re.
~;5 ~.. ~;JUJ~j~~
Enclosed, please find materials which should complete the
information packet previously submitted with the initial response
to the referenced AHR review. These items address points noted in
our telephone conversation of November 3 along with a few other
minor items, and hopefully will serve to complete / clarify those
items.
A revised Table 30 has been enclosed, and reflects the corrected
mean flow value pertaining to Site 84 for 1992. This value was not
reviewed during the initial AHR response, and TCC apologizes for
this oversight. It would appear that the 0.23 cfs value was a
columnar shift error, and should have read 0.28 cfs. You will note
that the revised Table 30 which is enclosed shows a value of 0.29,
which reflects the rounded value for Site 84 during 1992. The mean
flow value for Site 109 has also been revised to read 0.23 as
compared to the previously reported 0.22 cfs, and the Site 115
value has been corrected to read 0.22 cfs as compared to 0.20 cfs.
These errors apparently resulted from the insertion of an incorrect
column value for Site 115 which in turn shifted the remaining
values by one column. Also, please note that Table 30 has been
revised as a result for the 1992 mean flow value for sites 115 and
109 combined, with the value reading 0.45 as compared to the
previously reported 0.42 cfs. TCC is modifying the manner in which
these values are calculated, and will hopefully prevent a
recurrence in the future. A revised Figure 42 reflecting the
slight changes for the reported means has also been enclosed.
Also enclosed are the revised data sheets for Sites 302 (addressing
the doubling of values} and 06AW2 (addressing the incorrect water
level value) which were inadvertently left out of the initial
response packet which you received.
