Shelton <br />Dear Mr. Shelton: <br />RE: Notice of intent to <br />continue mining. <br />Delta Sand & Gravel Co. <br />Permit #M77-20, Pit #1 <br />our anniversary date for this permit is March 23rd. we mined <br />approximately 65,000 tons of material from this pit in 1988. We <br />continue to operate in both Stage I and II as indicated on the <br />enclosed map. <br />Annual report questions as outlined in Section 2:41 of the Rules <br />and Regulations are answered as follows: <br />1. Approximately .64 acres +/- was mined of the final 8 feet <br />of gravel in the Stage I area. Approximately 1.11 acres <br />+/- of Stage II was mined to a depth of about 20 feet. <br />(See annual report map.) <br />2. Reclamation at this point involved grading of slopes on <br />the south and east sides of Stage I. No further <br />reclamation is required until Stage I mining is complete. <br />3. N.A. <br />4. N.A. <br />5. N.A. <br />6. N.R. <br />7. In the coming year we will continue to mine from the <br />Stage I area and develope the Stage II area as demand for <br />material require.
