The name of
the joint venture is Eagle-Gypsum Products.
During the summer, much of the claim area was studied and
development drilling conducted under STATEWIDE PROSPECTING BOND
No. 874-817 #3. Mine production to serve the wallboard plant as
well as other markets will be substantially greater than the
production from the mine in the past. The increased production
requirements and the results of the development drilling program
make it necessary to amend the mine and reclamation plans for
these operations. These amended plans are in process and will be
submitted to the Mined Land Reclamation Division in late December
or early January. It is anticipated that amended plans will
include plans for the reclamation of some of the existing
affected area during 1990.
