O r heck for $242,50 is enclosed. <br />Approximately 10 acres were m ed in 1982 leaving an island. <br />See attached map. In the Spr g of 1984 the Colorado River <br />produced some of the highest fl ws on record, which resulted in <br />flooding along the river, is looding breached the dyke on <br />the adjacent Kiewit Lake Gr vel 't and the dykes separating <br />Kiewits pit from the area fined i 1982, which in turn washed <br />over the dyke between the pit and e river. A portion of the <br />dyke has been replaced a 'acent to he Kiewit Property. See <br />attached aerial photo. <br />As a result of this fl <br />on overflow channel o <br />flow, the area functi <br />overgrown with willo , <br />We are requesting t at <br />an overflow channe of <br />~oding, the are mined has been acting as <br />the river durin high water.
