Natural Resource Trustee <br />~ <br />RE: Notice ofa~'avel Pit with Exposed Groun titer, <br />Olathe Pit~'DRMS Permit No. M-1984-108.' <br />Dear Mr. King: <br />On October 26, 2007, the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS) <br />conducted an inspection of the above referenced operation and observed approximately 9.5 <br />acres of groundwater exposed by the mining excavation. DRMS records do not verify that the <br />Operator has obtained a well permit through the Division of Water Resources for the evaporative <br />loss of the exposed groundwater.
