SLOPE STABILITY
INTERIM INSPECTION REPORT

AREA Wolf Creek Drainage Fill DATE 6/4/87
71ME 2:00 p.m. WEATHER Clear, 75°-85°
1. Debris, organic matter, coal, etc., present in fill None visible.
2. General gradation and characteristics of material No apparent Change from
the prior inspection.
3. Presence of water, surface and ground Minor water seepage in the pit
bottom above the Coal Ramp #A2. The flow rate is approximately 10 g.p.m.
No signs of seepage at the downstream end of the underdrain.
4. Condition of underdrain (approx. current width, depth, and length), material
gradation and characteristic, compaction, presence of water NO apparent
change from the prior inspection.
5. General material movement NO unexpected movement 15 evident.
6. Proximity and treatment of seep points Minor Seepage In the pit bottom
adjacent (south) of the underdrain. Water flowing down dip into the
rocky spoil.
7. Condition of slope fill surface (grading, cracks or sloughing, erosion,
revegetation) No apparent change from the prior inspection. The under-
drain is almost comoleted. As mining progresses with the next several
cuts, reclamation grading can proceed on the spoil above the underdrain.
8. Recommendation Continued observation and inspection of the fill slope
until rough grading and revegetation are concluded.
9
I certify the
the best of:
observations and comments to be true and accurate to
June 8, 1987
Date
JUN 0 8 1981
Accountability
