SLOPE STABILITY
INTERIM INSPECTION REPORT
AREA Wolf Creek Drainage Fill UATE 4-4-86
IIME 9:00 AM WEATHER Cool, cloudy
Debris, organic matter, coal, etc., present in fill None visible
2. General gradation and characteristics of material Gradation of core & upper fill
as snecified. Fine granular aaterial has been cast into previous pit. Large
blocky_materia]_has been placed in underdrain as specified, underdrain materials
3. PresenceVof water, surface and ground ~nimd water amPraina frnm f,~e_lIAi1P,>~
drain at a rate of 10 to 15 gpm. Underdrain appears to be functioning properly.
Surface water & pit drainage is being diverted around the underdrain.
4. Condition of underdrain (approx. current width, depth, and length), material
gradation and characteristic, compaction, presence of water Current placement
approximately 20'-25' wide by 15'-20' deep. Current length of underdrain is
2100'. Due to snow melt conditions &~eneral snow cover, the area is wet, but
no unusual pondinq was noted.
5. General material movement No unexpected movement evident.
6. Proximity and treatment of seep points None observed
7. Condition of slope fill surface (grading, cracks or sloughing, erosion,
revegetation Fill surface has not been rough graded as of this inspection
8. Recommendation Continued observation & inspection as construction progresses
downslope.
9. Accountability
I certify the preceding observations and comments to be true and accurate to
the best of my knowledge.
g '• ~.
~~ •Hlcy s
VJ~•~ttrj~f l^3 ~~
N.N .
-' ~,J~'~`,,lr= ur is a en ---date --
i •..°+~ ~uc.~?.• Colorado P.E. 17274
fpr rl'I fF~~O
