Sedalia Reeycl,ng center & <br />Depository <br />Petrotec International, an engineering company specializing in the design and construction of recy- <br />cling and depository centers, proposes to design and construct a private depository on property cur- <br />rently owned by the Sedalia Land Company, Inc. The land, called the Ute Mine, is currently used as an <br />open pit clay mine for materials to build bricks and tiles. <br />The recycling and depository facility will provide depository services for construction waste only. It <br />will also accept pre approved shipments of non hazardous items from regulatory agencies such as <br />petroleum laden soils. No municipal, residential and or liquid wastes will be accepted. The life of the <br />landfill is accepted to be twenty five to thirty years. <br />Description of project area <br />The project area is located approximately 1/2 mile north on Highway 85 of the town of Sedalia, <br />Douglas County,Colorado in the South 1/2 SE 1/4 Section 11 ,T 7 S R 68 W and the North 1/2 NE 1/ <br />4 Section 14, T 7 S R 68 W. <br />Denver <br />Project Location <br />State of Colorado with project area in relation to Denver. <br />All of the proposed operation is within a 160 acre fenced in an area surrounded by larger agricultural <br />and residential acreages, commercial operations, grazing operations and a Public Service utility <br />company.
