Park County
Request for Correspondence
Dear Mr. Balderston:
Ronald W. Cattany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety has tried repeatedly to contact you regarding your Rock-n-
Pine Mine in Park County. You are several months delinquent with payment of your 2007 annual fee, written
correspondence to you has gone unanswered, and the only telephone number that the Division has on file for you no
longer appears to be valid. If we do not hear from you, the Division will be forced to take the matter to the Mined Land
Reclamation Board for consideration of a possible violation and/or permit revocation. Please contact the Division as
soon as possible to discuss your plans for your mining permit. If we do not hear from you within 60 days, we will
proceed with possible enforcement actions.
I can be reached at (303) 866-3927.
Si erely,
David A.
