samples. When no flow is observed at the Cou Camp or Bond Creek sites (Sites 11 and 131,
' • the two Fish Creek sites (Sites 10 and 12) are not monitored.

At the Seneca II Mine, there axe eight spoil springs axe monitored for field parameters
and full-suite lab samples in the spring and fall seasons. In addition, Spoils Spring 1
was sampled for a full-suite lab samples concurrently with NPDES 009, and was monitored
twice monthly and concurrently with NPDES 009 for field parameters from March to May.
Surface water quality data are presented in Appendix D. Data for each site begins with a
flow hydrograph of all historic data (plus an annual hydrograph for NPDES sites), followed
by a listing of individual water quality and quantity data for the current water year, a
TDS regression plot using the LOWESS method (see Cround Water Quality section), and then a
listing of historic percent milliequivalent values for major ions and TDS values. Crest
stage gage rating curves are presented in Appendix E. Lab samples are handled identically
to procedures discussed previously in the Cround Water Quality section. For the sake of
brevity, the prefix that precedes all surface water site names will often be dropped
throughov t'the following text. As an example, Site SSLGS will be referred to as Site 5.
• Fiah Creek Drainage. Six monitoring eitea exist within the Fiah Creek drainage: NPDES 009
and Site 10 are located on Cow Camp Creek. NPDES 008 and Site 12 are located on Bond
Creek. Sites 11 and 13 exist on Fieh Creek.
- NPDES Discharge Point 009 (NPDE 59) Hydrograph9 based on weekly flow measurements are
presented in Appendix D. The hydrographs for NPDES aitae consist of txo parts; the first
being data fox this year only, while the second shows all historical data.
The yearly average flow Ifrom weekly measurements) since this pond Degan to flow were
1999wY (water Year) = 0 .240 cfs
1998WY = 0 .468 cfs
1997WY = 0 .506 cfs
1996WY = 0. 609 cfs
1995WY = 0.357 cfs
1994wY = 0.121 cfs
1993WY = 0.360 cfs
• 1992wY = 0.131 cfs
1991WY = 0.189 cfs
