LeadviUe Mining and Milling Corp. J. Scott Hazliu
P.O. Bo:552 Leadville,CO 80461 (719)486-3000
Imminchaffee.net
ANNUAL REPORT
PERMITTEE NAME: Leadville Mining and Milling Corp. RECEIVED
PERMIT NO.: M-90-057 JUN 18 2001
OPERATION NAME: Hopemore& Leadville
ANNIVERSARY DATE: June 18, 2000 Division of Minerals and Geology
ANNUAL FEE: $225.00
COUNTY: Lake
Hopemore Mine
During the permit year Leadville Mining and Milling Corp. conducted underground
exploratory core drilling, drift rehabilitation, drift development, and surface reverse-
circulation exploratory drilling. Approximately 1,200 tons of material was added to the
surface rock stockpile.
Beyond what has been reported in previous years, the surface reverse-circulation drilling
program is the only addition surface disturbance to occur. A diagram of our prospecting
area is attached with this report. Prospecting permits and bonds (certificates of deposits)
were in place prior to drilling. A total of 34 surface holes were drilled. An off road
buggy drill was used to minimize surface disturbance. Drill hole depths varied from less
than 400 feet to 800 feet. Surface drill locations were reclaimed, and proof will be
submitted for approval when conditions permit.
Future activity at the mine for the upcoming permit year includes only maintenance
underground and additional surface drilling.
Mill Site
The mill has been inactive since January of 2000. Temporary stockpiles were re-graded
to shed rainfall and snow melt during the year. The site was used for lab test work, and
storage throughout the year.
Cleanup work on the property will continue this summer.
If you have any questions please call me at 719-486-3000.
Sincerely yours,
Scott Hazlitt,
Mine Manager
CAMy Doauneres\Cola do Permit work\Annoal fee rgw,Ldo
