1 <br />wells are plotted on Figure 20. The dissolved solids average 2200 to 3800 <br />' mg/1 and range in value from 1950 to 4725 mg/1. The dissolved solids appear <br />to be increasing. This mah represent a long term trend or may be related to <br />' variations in annual precipitation. The water is a calcium-sulfate type <br />with high bicarbonate and low SAR. Tlie water is higher in dissolved solids <br />' than the background bedrock levels but lower than most of the spoil spring <br />discharges. The data does not indicate any significant changes in the trace <br />metals concentrations.
