The Kerr Coal Company
operation is now in full reclamation mode and is expected to continue through mid 1994.
Since October 1992, approximately 3,450,000 LCY (loose cubic yards) have been moved to
reclaim the pit areas. The majority of this material has been moved since July 1993, when Kerr
went into full reclamation mode. Overburden material is being removed from the 720
overburden stockpile and placed in the 720 Pit with the use of a fleet of scrapers. At the Pit
1 Area, material is being dozed into the emp[y pit with a D10 dozer.
No final grading, topsoiling or revegetation was conducted during the 1993 water year (October
1, 1992 to October 1, 1993).

lJ

1
1

1
TenaAfatrrz/ACZ Int. ° P.O.
