ASN DISPOSAL <br />During 1994, a total of 26,012 tons of mixed fly and bottom ash were <br />disposed at the Keenesburg Mine. A{I 26,012 tons of ash were disposed in <br />South "B" Pit, which at the end of 1994 contained 60,096 tons of ash. I n <br />addition, 5,667 tons of ny and 'uuitun a~ii iiavd been uispusea in North. _ .~ <br />"B" Pit and 131,905 tons in "A" Pit over past years. Total ash disposed on <br />site are 197,668 tons. <br />The only waste accepted was ash from the Coors' Power Plant in Golden <br />Colorado. The sole coal source used was from the Colowyo Coal Company. <br />A grab ash sample was taken from the Coors" Power Plant from both the <br />fly ash and bottom ash bins. The samples were analyzed by using the <br />Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure. The ash was also analyzed <br />for radioactivity. Copies of the analyses are included in the following <br />pages. <br />Also included are monthly ash disposal reports, which summarize the <br />disposal activity at the Keenesburg "line. <br />• <br /> <br />AHR-1994 -53- STIPULATION #?,4-25 <br />
