As Picketwire purchased the mine during 1997, this is the <br />first AHR submitted for the new owner. Also, previous AHRs included both the Golden Eagle and <br />New Elk mines within the same report. This report contains information for only the New Elk <br />Mine. With closure of the Golden Eagle Mine, no coal was processed at New Elk and no <br />consumptive uses of water were employed.
