Monitoring et surface water sites associated with the Nucla East mining area during the 1990 water year was performed according to the approved baseline hydrologic monitoring program through January, 7990. Appendices A and C contain discharge end water quality measurements, respectively, obtained et surface water sites associated with [he Nucla East mining area up through January, 7990. After January, monitoring of surface water sites in the Nucla East mining area was .discontinued in accordance with the approved hydrologic monitoring plan during temporary cessation (see Appendix 75-4, Tab 15, Nucla PAP). Table 4 lists each Nucle East surface water monitoring site, location and type of flow measurement performed. Ground Mater Nonitorinc Proorams at Nucle and Nucla East. From February, 1990 through the end of the 1990 water year, monitoring of wells in bath areas was conducted in accordance with the approved hydrologic monitoring program far the Nucls Mine duri n9 temporary cessation (see Appendix 15-4, Tab 15, Nucla PAP). During temporary cessation, all monitoring activities associated with Nucla East monitoring wells are discontinued. Table 5 presents a summary of well locations, tompl etion information, and monitoring frequencies during temporary cessation for ell monitoring wells established at both the Nucla Mine and the Nucla East mining areas. Access to Nucle East Nel l~s GW-N16, -N 16P1, -N17, -N17P1, -N18, end -N18P1 was denied during the 1990 water year, prohibiting the toLlection of any data (water levels, water chemistry) from these wells. Hater level data collected et monitoring wells associated with the Nucla Mine end Mucla East mining areas during the 1990 water year ere presented in Appendix D. Ground water quality data for samples collected at wells associated with both areas during the 1990 water year ere presented in Appendix E. Table 6 presents the list of parameters us ed to . analyze water quality samples obtained et monitoring wells associated with both areas during the 1990 water year. This parameter list will be used for analyzing ground water quality samples collected during the 1991 water year. 13
