This
report reflects some of the changes entailed with the transfer of
surface facilities from Colorado Yampa Coal Company to Twentymile
Coal Company, yet retains a certain degree of overlap for clarity.
Items of note for the 1992 water year include the lack of
discharge from Site 87 (pond F) and the adjacent spoil spring, Site
114. Other items include the interception of a fracture zone
during October 1991 which resulted in increased inflows to the
portal area and increased discharge rates from Site 109. Also,
please note that there was a change in standards, from Total Iron
to Total Recoverable Iron for Site 62 under NPDES Permit CO-
0036684.
Should you have any questions or comments, please contact me at
your convenience.
Sincerely,
Marcus A.
