Stipulation 116 required that Coors develop a plan to mitigate
any depletions to tributary water that may occur as a result of the operation
of the Keenesbury Pline. Coors has joined the plan for augmentation operated by
the Ground Water Appropriatdrs of the South Platte, Tile. (GASP) which operates
a temporary plan for augmentation which IM5 been ❑pproved by the State Engineer's
Office.
The appropriate contract documents have been signed by CAST' and Coors. During
the current water year, Coors released 70 acre-feet from their Clear Creek storage
system to augment for the tributary water that Was pumped from the Kccncsburg
Mine Site.
This office expects to receive an annual report from Coors in 17ebruarN of each
year for as long as Coors continues to operate the Keciicsburg Mine. Coors plans
to meter all inflow water and rainfall runoff pumped from the pit during the pre-
vious year. This information will be presented in the UT111U.11 report submitted to
this office. The amount of make-up water released (hiring the previous year to
replace this tributary water intCT'CCptCd Will also be p1'CSC11tCd in the annual report.
In addition, Coors should indicate any releases that will he iiuidc during, the current
year to correct for any shortages in MlK(!-Up W,'ItCr thJt OCCLII-I'Cd during the previous
year.
Based upon the above referenced ;ICLioll!; rither ;111'cady L;Ikell by Coors or that will
occur in the Coming years, we feel that Coors is in compliance with Stipulation 116.
IIDS/RI.S:iiia
cc: Jim C1;10: , Ili,v .
