The purpose of our inspection was to look for evidence of slope instability <br />and to judge if the spoil had been placed in general conformance with the design. <br />At the time of our site visit, the top and outslopes of Spoil Disposal Area I <br />were covered by grass and weed vegetation. There was no evidence of slope <br />failure. No spoil appeared to have been placed since our last inspection in July <br />1984. Mr. Kondelis confirmed there had been no work on the spoil since our last <br />inspection. No further work is planned. <br />Based upon our inspections of Excess Spoil Disposal Area I, we believe this <br />facility has been constructed in general conformance with the design.
