1997 Annual Reclamation Report
Carbon Junction Mine (C-92-080)
January 5, 1998
Page 2
Additional Information
On November 26, 1996, Oakridge Energy submitted an application for liability and
bond release for the explosives bench and access road area at the Carbon Junction
Mine. After review of the application, and inspection of the area requested for release,
CDMG approved the bond release application (AP-1) on April 24, 1997.
Subsequent to the bond release, Oakridge Energy submitted a technical revision
application (TR07) to excise the explosives bench, access road, and additional
undisturbed areas from the north and west boundary of the Carbon Junction Mine
permit area. The total acreage requested for excision from the permit area was
approximately 31 acres. CDMG approved the removal of this acreage on June 25,
1997. Revised maps showing the new permit area were submitted to the Division as
part of the technical revision.
Sincerely, ~~
Mi,K'cWhaG/,elfQS~S~avag/e'
Vice-President
cc: Jim Hendricks, Oakridge Energy
Harry Goff, Goff Engineering
